I got interested in orphans after studying world social sciences and was overwhelmed by the overpopulation on the planet. I walked into The Miracle Foundation office one afternoon and asked how I could help. The staff is very knowledgeable about the importance of taking care of children who do not have a voice for themselves. The children that they support receive a chance to be loved, cared for, and are given opportunities as they grow to gain education chances that they would otherwise not be given. As a volunteer, I know my time is helping in one of the most under-looked issues that we face as humans.
