The reason why i put this as "Far exceeds expectations" is because 1) Erowid is a massive database that is nowhere nearly complete in growing 2) Erowid is by far the most reliable source of drug information i have found and 3) Erowid produces a great amount of information available to the public. Very few organizations do what Erowid does so well.

Erowid has given me access to knowledge about drugs, plants, medications, and personal experiences more so than any other website there is. It currently consists of over 10,000+ files and it's always going to get bigger and better.

I strongly appreciate the fact that they do not judge the topic and discussion of drug use and yet they neither will encourage or make light of the activities involved in drug use. Thank you Erowid for the information you provide. Where many would seek to mislead Erowid conveys an honest and open dialogue and consensus on virtually any substance that can affect the mind or body; everything from Tobacco to LSD to Prozac to supplements.

It is a shame that so many Academic institutions ban the website. It's a massive loss for objective truth on psychoactives. The more they are censored the more legitimate sources of information are limited for students of all ages (primarily of that of college).
