Review for Sphoorti Foundation, Hyderabad, , India
Sphoorti Foundation is a good platform for changing lives of children. I have visited the place and their kids. Wonderful place and very homely. They provide basic food, sleeping mats, library room, computer room etc. Kids refer to the founder Srivyal as mama/uncle. Older kids help out with cooking for the younger ones along with a cook, and also help tutor them with studies. They have 2 dogs for the security of the place. They are looking at expanding the building and providing more resources for kids. I would encourage everyone to sponsor a child or volunteer their time there. I am updated about the progress of the child I sponsor each year. Happy to support them further! Thank you Srivyal for good work! :)

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Each room is currently shared by many kids, so having mattresses would help. Breakfast is currently raagi - it is healthy but maybe a change each day will help. There is a study room available for kids which can be more effective, especially if people used it each day during certain study times. Even running some sports, textiles and drawing classes may help them in developing new skills.
