raptor-house-
Review for Raptor House Rehabilitation Center, Yakima, WA, USA
We care for injured wildlife that comes to the center. Train raptors that are non-releasable and get them place in educational programs and zoo's. We educate well over 6000 thousand students with the traveling educational program.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Caring for many raptors and other animals that come to the center. To take an animal that is ill, and give the medical care and to see that bird go back into the wild again. Teaching children about the raptors and environmental awareness.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
get the word out to people about what a wonderful program it is. More donations to help the center.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Getting to work with children in the Raptor Awareness program. Training non-releasable birds for the educational programs.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
everyone was great to talk to, very knowledgeable about the different raptors in the area. Everyone works hard, and are beneficial to the program.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
The organization would provide intern housing and a full medical center for a staff vet to work on the sick, injured ad orphaned wildlife. We would expand the pens for the different animals, allowing for more animals to receive care at the center.
Ways to make it better...
we could travel to further locations to provide educational programs. Funds to not allow for that at this time.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Funds
One thing I'd also say is that...
This organization is a great program that reaches out to so many people. The care that is given to the animals is great.
