Review for World Wildlife Fund, Inc., Washington, DC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I first notice this foundation back in 1990. I was in sixth grade and our school was taking an interest in our environment. At the end of each year, each 6th grader was to propose a mural suggestion for the rather large mural that would be painted and hung in the class room. This had been a tradition for many years. My mural proposal was completely influenced by my membership to the World Wildlife Fund. I drew 7 endangered species, one from each continent, to represent the fragility of our planet. My proposal won the vote. The World Wildlife Fund has been loyal to the planet. Working hard to educate us all on the reality of extinction and how we can prevent it. For nearly 50yrs, they have creatively inspired us all to do our part to protect, clean-up, and care for our planet and all of whom reside upon it. It is the most widely known and respected conservation group and has proven to be effective in all of its efforts.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The endangered species list has grown smaller.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would probably not be so successful.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

They are very well organized. They keep you informed of everything they do in an entertaining newsletter. Their website is easy to navigate and informative. And the deeds they inspired were very rewarding spiratually for me.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

I have never met anyone who was directly connected to the organization. But I have read of their adventures and find them all to be very genorous of their time and they talents.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Save us all.

Ways to make it better...

If I had become a zooologist and volunteered for them.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Laziness, ignorance, greed. The same challenges our planet faces.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Of all the organizations that work for the planet, I have no doubt that this one will follow thru with its promises. That the World Wildlife Fund will stand strong and do their best. Just check out their website and you will agree!

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

Role:  Donor & I have donated money to this organization thru out the years. I have served the orphaned wildlife in my county by volunteering at Pet Refuge and the Wildlife Rehab Center.
