I'm a veteran who has been honorably discharged and currently facing a financial hardship. I discovered this organization online, and decided to reach out for assistant. i was directed to complete an online application. While filling out the application, the system kept prompting me that I was not eligible because I did not meet ONE OR MORE of the following criteria: *disabled veteran with 30% or more disability rating
*honorable discharge (which I meet)
*service connected injury from OIF/OEF
*facing servere financial hardship (which I meet)

I then called the office to explain to them how the system kept promoting me, and the head of veteran services there kept trying to say that I didn't meet the requirements. After I explained to her that I did meet two of the four requirements, she began to speak to me as if I were a child, not understanding what the website stated. I guess my complaint is, unless you are disabled, or have a service connected injury, you will not be helped from this organization. I wish they'd clear up the miscommunication, and convey that they will only help disabled and service connected veterans only, instead of having other (non disabled) veterans who have served their country as well, waste time trying to find help at a place where they have no intentions to assist.
