Review for Natures Nursery Center For Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation, Whitehouse, OH, USA
I have been a volunteer at Nature's Nursery for 18 years. What a great group! They take in over 2,000 injured and orphaned wild animals for rehab each year, and conduct wonderful nature education programs throughout the community. The staff and volunteers are very hard-working, dedicated people.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the many animals returned to the wild, and the faces of the children who attend their educaiton programs.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Actually, I once DID run this organization... I would try to be more like Laura, their wonderful director!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
working with the great staff and volunteers. Such a fun organization!
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
knowledgable, dedicated, helpful, fun.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
revitalize the historic limestone barn to create a beautiful public nature center, and purchase and outfit a Mobile Science Learning Lab that would visit schools and community events to share their conservation education message.
Ways to make it better...
I had had more time to give. That place is addictive!
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
getting funding in the present economy (like all nonprofits), although they even do a good job of that.
One thing I'd also say is that...
this group has a lot of integrity, and has been doing great work for more than 20 years!
