My Nonprofit Reviews

I have volunteered with Newport ProLiteracy, which offers tutoring and classes for English learners, for 4 years. The volunteers I have met are kind, lively people who want to help learners improve their skills in English. The learners come from all over the world and are dedicated to becoming active participants in their community while developing better communication skills. I am grateful to have learned much about cultures of the world from the individuals I have taught. The director and staff of the ProLiteracy group are engaged in doing what is best for the program and the people it affects. This is a great nonprofit group!
