I have been involved with Newport Mesa Pro Literacy Program for two years as a tutor with two learners as well as chairing and participating in their annual fund-raising luncheon.
I have had the privilege of working with the most dedicated people ever - both those couple on the payroll (underpaid) and the many tutors, teachers and learners we are constantly in touch with. This Organization has changed the lives of many hundreds of people who could not get jobs, could not become citizens, could not help their children learn and could not communicate with others. They have given a life to those who thought they "couldn't"!
