I have been a tutor since March 2013. My pupil has blossomed over this short time into a much more confident, learned, assertive woman. She now has a greater respect for who she is and what she can accomplish. She and I both agree that the strides she has made are a direct result of being involved in the Proliteracy Program.
In just 1 1/2 years, she can read and write with much more comprehension. Together we have established a warm, positive, mutually-beneficial relationship (it makes me feel so good to travel this path with her) and I look forward to meeting her every week. Tutoring is now a highlight of my life!
