I wish I'd found ITSAN before I ever touched a tube of topical steroids. These drugs turned a very minor patch of eczema on one hand into a red raging hell on both of my hands, arms and legs. My doctor's recommendation: more and stronger steroids. Without the information and support on ITSAN I would not have made it through this last year. Topical steroid addiction and withdrawal is a very real and difficult process to go through. We need more awareness and support, not attacks by people who are still hooked on these dangerous drugs or promoting drug company interests.

The information compiled and shared by ITSAN is guiding me through one of the worst things I have ever faced. Topical Steroid Withdrawal and Red Skin Syndrome are not even acknowledged as real by most of our medical establishment so without ITSAN I would probably still be using steroids and getting sicker every day. Thanks to ITSAN I am now five months through the withdrawal process and getting my health back. Knowledge is power and ITSAN is empowering people to direct their own health choices.
