The horses at Serenity receive excellent care and lots of love. I've enjoyed working with Patricia, Gabrielle, and all of the volunteers. The focus at Serenity is truly on putting the welfare of the horses first, as it should be!

I began spending time at Serenity a year ago offering massage bodywork and Reiki (healing energy) to some of the horses. It is so moving to connect with these horses with backgrounds of abuse and neglect. They have taught me as much or more than I have given them!

At Patricia's request, my co-collaborator and I have begun offering workshops in equine facilitated learning with the Serenity herd. (The Horses As Healers program.) So many horses of all backgrounds have amazing things to share with people, and now that they are safe and beautifully cared for at Serenity, they are ready. It is a joy and an honor to hold individual sessions and workshops with the special horses there, and the arena and farm are very serene and lovely!
