Altered Tails is one of only a very small handful of truly low-cost spay/neuter clinics in the Phoenix area. They are my organization's main option for TNR surgeries. Without them, thousands and tens of thousands of feral cats each year would not get surgery, and more kittens would be born into misery, hunger, heat, and hostile environments. They are these unborn animals' salvation. They always try to take in the 'just one extra' on nights when trapping has been good, and work with me to maximize the impact of the appointments I get. I would be unable to function without them, and the 1500+ cats that I organized TNR for would not get help. They also provide vaccines, antibiotics and other care for cats who come in sick or injured. Their compassion for animals is great, and their service invaluable.

I adopted a beautiful furbaby from them after my previous cat died. I loved that cat soooo much. But then my living situation changed and after promising I could have a cat I was told the cat had to go - NOW! Sun Cities 4 Paws took my baby back in, and has found her a loving and caring home. Soon I hope to be able to move to a location where I will be able to have a cat and they have promised I may adopt another one. I can't wait! The cats and the people are so wonderful.
