The animals at Serenity are given a second chance at life, not only with food and shelter, but with love and compassion. The director, Patricia, leads the care with as much love and devotion as a parent. Without Serenity, many of these animals would be slaughtered or left to die in horrible neglect. The work of this nonprofit is absolutely essential and I love being a part of it.
