Joan, the founder of Self Chec, is warm and caring but also forward thinking about creating new tools and resources for people as we move deeper into the digital and virtual age. I am honored to be a part of the team that created Self Chec's inaugural hackathon to develop digital tools to help prevent breast cancer and look forward to future hackathons which will directly address other cancers and diseases.

It takes a special person and a special organization to fully embrace this kind of innovation and it deeply reflects Joan and Self Chec's dedication to make the world a healthier place by empowering people to make better choices.
