Review for Global Autism Project, Brooklyn, NY, USA
I began volunteering with the organization in 2016. I have traveled 6 times to their partnership sites in the Dominican Republic (3x at 2 different centers), the Netherlands (2x), and the Czech Republic. While the purpose of this organization is to help others around the world by disseminating ABA, I have gained as much as I have given. By that, I mean that I have seen a marked improvement in myself in the following ways: clinical skills, programming, leadership, and communication with clients and their families. I highly recommend this organization to anyone interested in sustainable practices and the dissemination of ABA.

I’ve volunteered with the Global Autism project three times. This is a fantastic organization that creates sustainable change throughout the world. By focusing services towards training clinicians and engaging in community outreach, the Global Autism Project is able to improve the educational services for individuals with autism for years to come. This experience has helped me grow personally and professionally. With each trip, I feel as if I learned more about my field in 2 weeks than in a year back home. At first it became an annual trip that renewed my spirt and reaffirmed my commitment to the field. Now I am traveling twice a year and feel fantastic!

This is a fantastic organization that is committed to providing quality education and training for professionals working with children and adults with autism around the world. This model allows local professionals to become the experts within their community. This organization is also fantastic to work with!
