I adopted my little princess, Sadie, about a month ago. I had been searching and wanted to rescue a dog from a great organization. That was OPH! It was convenient from filling out the application, to my references being checked out and then finally being approved. Ellen was so great on the phone. Since I have GSD at home, I spoke with my vet and asked if the original dog I inquired about was a good fit. He indicated a mid size dog. So I continued to search on OPH and found my baby girl. I was blessed that she was still waiting for adoption and I knew she was mine. Ellen put me in touch with her foster mom and she was fantastic as well. She told me all about her and sent me pictures and even a video! Her foster family was so great to her and her sisters. I saw where she stayed and how they were treated.

Sadie came home with me that same day. I wasn't letting go. Jen and Ellen where supportive and checked in as well as Mindy. They were there as a support system whenever I needed. Sadie has been a true blessing and I am so grateful to OPH for what they do. When it is time for me to expand my family again, I know where I am going!
