I have been a MusicLink teacher for over 20 years. It is so important developmentally & musically for a child to have long term individual lessons with professional music teachers, despite a family’s financial challenges. MusicLink is a great equalizer.

I have been teaching students through the MusicLink Foundation for nearly two decades. This continues to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Some of our students have endured heartbreaking circumstances such as homelessness or the loss of a parent. All of our MusicLink families struggle with financial instability beyond their control and want the best for their children. Their economic status would ordinarily make it impossible to study music, but MusicLink makes long term individual lessons possible. It is life changing.

MusicLink is unique in its emphasis on long term individual music instruction for children of low income families, making an enormous difference musically, academically and personally. As a teacher and local coordinator, I have been involved with MusicLink for 15 years and I continue to be deeply impressed.
