I spent a week in India at the Mukta Home for girls orphanage with my daughter, Caroline. We, and six other ambassadors from the US got to spend time with 41 girls over a course of 4-5 days. It was "life changing" to say the very least. In spite of their upbringing, life tragedies, and those circumstances that brought them to this orphanage, I can tell you first hand that they are well-fed, being educated, being taught "the golden rule" and very well cared for. The love and happiness that exudes from these children and those that care for them, including The Miracle Foundation volunteers is palpable and extraordinary. It was certainly a trip that we will never forget, and after being there and seeing the work of this foundation, we will continue to support this work through prayer and funding.
