The Center for Biological Diversity acts as passionately for the nation's ecological health as any other wildlife-service organization I know of. My support for this organization does not diminish with time but rather grows more intense as the tipping-balance of wildlife needs rises or falls according to human practices in the the increasingly-fragile American environment.
