My Nonprofit Reviews

I became aware of Hunger Fight's mission through a packing event held at my church. From that time many years ago, I have volunteered my time and talents to their mission of feeding those who are hungry. Their passion and drive to help those in need are evident in every thing that they do. Their expansion of their mission to fight illiteracy and hunger in our children is making a difference. Joining them in their work is a pleasure and a privilege.

As someone who works in the nonprofit sector, I see many organizations that say they are going to do something, but don't. Hunger Fight is one of those that delivers on everything it promises. The simplicity of what they do in packing meals, engaging the community and companies to do it, and collaborating with other nonprofits to get the food delivered, makes this organization one of the few that continue to consistently deliver their mission. I have worked with them since they started, both as a volunteer and with an organization that was the recipient of the food. They are what they say they are. Helping us all to "reach out and feed someone."
