2023 started a little rocky but wow it wrapped up with a fantastic climb to the top as our best year yet! I'm predicting 2024 will be even better thanks to our dedicated board of directors.

I will continue to put my heart and soul into conserving the Spanish Iberian genetics CRMI has found within this California wild horse herd.

I'm really proud of the CRMI team & I feel very blessed to be part of this dedicated group. During these challenging times, it takes creativity, thinking outside the box, and determination to budget on a small donation base. CRMI is dedicated to putting the Carter Mustangs first.

I have known Angel for more than 20 years. She cares deeply for the well-being of all the animals in her care. Thank you for giving the misfit mustangs a soft place to land.

We are now in our 6th year as a nonprofit. I am honored to serve with a great all-volunteer team dedicated and staying true to our mission; to preserve the Spanish lineage of the wild Carter Reservoir Mustangs. As a member of the board, my job is to help guide and direct this nonprofit to accomplish the mission. I think this past year CRMI had tremendous growth towards the goal and our 2020 accomplishments will be even bigger. I am so glad to be part of such a great team.

Great nonprofits continue to grow each year and are managed by visionaries. Christine sees where her help is needed and jumps in with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Thank you, Christine, for all your hard work and dedication to our equine friends.

In 2012 I was encouraged to start a nonprofit for the Carter Reservoir wild horse herd. I delayed doing so until the beginning of 2015. I'm so thankful that I listened stepping out of my comfort zone. 2018 was quite a growth year for CRMI and 2019 is poised to be another one. Thanks to all those who support us in our preservation efforts of this beautiful wild horse herd.

Adobe Mountain Equine Inc is a top notch rescue and sanctuary. Their facility is efficient, super user-friendly and each pen is large enough for their mustangs to run and play. Angel is very knowledgeable about mustangs and keeps a close eye on all the horses in her care. I am a volunteer, donor and a professional in the field and I hope others will consider donating to this wonderful nonprofit.

Such a great nonprofit with goals that focus on positive changes for the Carter Reservoir wild horses. I am so proud to be associated with CRMI as their focus always puts the Carter Mustangs first. CRMI is the first and original nonprofit for this unique mustang herd and in it for the long haul.

Honestly, integrity and pursuit of admirable goals are just some of the great qualities of Adobe Mountain Equine. They are a hard working volunteer organization that is very worthy of donations.

Providing the utmost care and dedication to the wellbeing of all the animals that live at AMEq, is how I would describe Angel Zygo. With her husband being injured and unable to help, the full workload falls on Angel. But she is relentless and just keeps moving along towards her goals.
I have volunteered at AMEq numerous times whenever I am in the area. I wished I lived closer so I could be out there more often. I'm in hopes others will donate and go out and volunteer to help them in their worthy cause.
