Review for Operation Santa Cause Inc, Orange Park, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Jeanne and her team of elves truly makes a difference in the lives they touch. The holidays is suppose to be a time of joy and happiness however, when you are down on your luck or away from your family the holidays can be very stressful. Operation Santa Cause helps to put a SMILE back on the faces of those in need. GREAT cause to support!!

Review for Hunger Fight, Jacksonville, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

For the past 2 1/2 years I have dedicating my time to Hunger Fight and our mission to help eradicate hunger and food insecurity in NE Florida. With 1 in 6 people and 1 in 4 children affected, hunger is a very real problem in Northeast Florida. Not limited to panhandlers or vagrants as many believe to be the hunger population, when in fact it's someone in the pew next to you at church or a child next to yours in school. I think the biggest hurdle to overcome is educating the general public as to how many in our communities are deemed food insecure and hungry and then getting them to participate in making a difference.
