Houndhaven doesn't just save dogs, they save people. My husband and I were so sad after losing our yellow lab. We said we would go to a Houndhaven meet and greet.....just to see the dogs. The volunteers were so kind and understanding about how we were feeling. We watched them interact with the dogs and could tell they had a real passion for helping animals. We fell in love with a lovely Chocolate lab. They were very careful to be sure Cocoa came to a good home and we really appreciated that they made adoption a smooth and enjoyable process. I cannot say enough about this organization and how much they have impacted our lives. Every Sunday I look forward to their Sunday Funday on Facebook.
