We recently adopted Aislin, renamed Sophie, from OPH and we love her and she has adjusted so well to her forever home. I had looked into other rescue organizations and this one by far was the best. Everyone that I worked with truly cares about finding these dogs a loving home. Sometimes the screening process can take a while but they were very prompt and within a week we took home our little girl. Our foster Melissa Lavoie was the most kind and caring person that we could have worked with. To this day, we still talk every day and I send pictures of Aislin/Sophie to her because she cares that much. They have truly wonderful people working for this group. Even after you adopt, they are still interested in the care and well being of the dogs and if you have a health concern of the dog, they will help you through it. If you choose OPH you will not be disappointed.
