At the recommendation of another member in my weekly HIV+ support group, I attended a one-day seminar provided by The life Group LA in Pasadena. I was so impressed by the presenters, and more importantly the organization and their mission, I attended their much touted quarterly POZ Life seminar. The experience cannot be described accurately in words. The compassionate environment provides a safe, loving, non-judgmental approach, commitment to a supportive weekend, and truly an enlightening adventure one must attend to fully grasp the experience. I was so excited I became an active volunteer, and praise the committed giving of all involved. As a non-profit we accept no government funding and therefore rely primarily on our fundraising events engineered by Executive Director Sunnie Rose Berger, the committed presenters, and the many volunteers for their tireless dedication to those infected and affected buy HIV.
