I recently adopted my dog Brieta (who I renamed Rosie) from Operation Paws for Homes and I had an excellent experience with OPH. I considered several different foster groups but I ended up choosing OPH for a few reasons. The screening process was very thorough yet efficient. Once I was approved for adoption, I was in contact with several volunteers who were each very helpful and knowledgable, and really tried hard to help me find the right dog to fit my personality and lifestyle. Since bringing Rosie home several of the volunteers have contacted me to check on Rosie and see how she's doing, and to offer tips for helping her adjust to a new home. I've felt supported throughout the entire adoption process and I'm so appreciative of all of the volunteers and the work that they do. I would absolutely recommend OPH to friends and family!
