Review for Laura's Hope Rescue, Hop Bottom, PA, USA
In 2010 I lost my partner suddenly then 2 months later our dog had to be put to sleep. I was ready for another dog in late summer 2011. As I looked into places to go something just drew me to Laura's Hope Rescue. I was not sure if I wanted a puppy or older dog. When I went to visit I was brought a cute puppy then a shy dog was brought out to meet me. He sat next to me we talked and I knew he was the one for me. I was allowed to take him home that day and he has made my life so much better. Some of my friends have also adopted from Lauras Hope . They are the best.

Laura's Hope rescue was a bright star that came into my life after I had lost my partner of 9 years then our dog Lucas a few months later. Though it took me 1 1/2 years to decide to get another dog. I filled out an application stating I was not sure if I wanted a puppy or a young dog. I went up to the rescue one day and Hope brought out a puppy then went and got a shy dog named Sonnie. Well that ended right there. As I sat on the ground and talked with Sonnie I fell in love. He was the one for me. Took him home that afternoon. Loaded him into the back of my honda CRV and by the time I got to the end of Hopes driveway he was sitting next to me. I did change the spelling ofnhis name to Sonny and he is 7 y.o. and the light of my life.

It took me almost 2 years to decide I needed someone. I was not sure about getting a puppy or a yoing dog. So one day after emailing and talking I drove up to visit. I played with a puppy then Hope brought out a dog she thought wpuld be perfect for me and it was love at first site
I sat om the ground talked and scratched a dog named Sonnie and asked him if he would like to gp jome with me. Well he did and although I kept his name I did change the spelling to Sonny. He is my precious little (50lb) boy and my life has changed so much for the better with him around
