Review for Los Angeles Police Reserve Foundation, Los Angeles, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

It keeps getting better and better! The LAPD Reserve Corps. is the finest form of community policing in the nation. With the relationship between the police and the communities they serve in the state they are at this time, there can be no better time than now to get involved. Help solve the problems, become part of the solution---join the LAPD Reserve Corps. LAPDreserve.com. Level 3 classes starting soon. The Los Angeles Police Reserve Foundation has been an integral part of the Corps for the last 30 years. The College Scholarship for officers or their children is a nice amenity. The Foundation produced a very sharp PSA staring Shaquille O'Neal. Lots of good work going on. This year's appreciation dinner was spectacular.

Review for Los Angeles Police Reserve Foundation, Los Angeles, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Los Angeles Police Reserve Corp is an indispensable program for the Los Angeles Police Department. The overall benefits to our City are phenomenal. The value of services donated to the City are in the millions, making the Reserve Corp a very valuable resource. Reserve officers augment the strength of the LAPD regular officers by putting more police officers on the streets of Los Angeles, in addition to those already deployed. LAPRF's recruitment initiative is indispensable in keeping the Reserve Corp strong. Reserve officers are very dedicated individuals who do not always receive the recognition they deserve. LAPRF hosts an awards and appreciation dinner to acknowledge the significance of these men and women, who serve voluntarily for the betterment of our communities. Two Reserve officers have also made the ultimate sacrifice by giving up their lives in the performance of their duties to keep the City safe. LAPRF's live fire simulation training initiative helps keep officers safe.
