I have volunteered with other rescues, but RMPR is heads above the rest in terms of their care for the rescued dogs' health and well-being. Their intake process for dogs/puppies taken from the shelter is intensive as they inspect each dog, weigh them, photograph and deliver vaccinations/flea/tick meds to each and every one. Also, I know of no other rescue that supports their foster volunteers as much or as well as they do, providing quality food, kennels, blankets, toys, collars. Their extraordinary support of those of us who foster the dogs in our homes further ensures the good health and well-being of the dogs adopted from this rescue.
