My daughters’ father passed away from SUDEP almost 10 years ago. The following year we were introduced to The Chelsea Hutchison foundation and have been involved ever since by helping to raise money and bring awareness to the world about Epilepsy and SUDEP. I have been so humbled by the efforts of Julie and Doug Hutchison of turning their loss of daughter Chelsea into such a magnificent organization that has helped so many people living with Epilepsy to bring not only awareness but also some peace of mind to families with service dogs and monitors. I have referred many people I have met with Epilepsy to CHF.

I have been honored and proud to be a part of The Chelsea Hutchinson Foundation for the 4th year. Telling the story of Chelsea and my daughter's father who also lost his life to SUDEP has been well received and resonates with more people that one may think. For the 3rd year in a row, I have been honored to make a quilt with proceeds, time and materials being donated by various, generous groups and individuals so the quilt can be auctioned or raffled to raise money for such a wonderful cause. It is truly a labor of love to be a part of it all.
