Review for Herobox, Inc., Peachtree City, GA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I found out about HeroBox while watching the MLB All Star game. When former US President Jimmy Carter explained what Ryan Housley was doing for our deployed soldiers, I was moved. What a wonderful way to show our soldiers that we care and make their deployment a little better. The HeroBox website was very helpful in giving me instructions and answering my questions. I would like to thank Jennifer from the HeroBox office for getting back to me so quickly when I emailed her with some questions. I have sent out 5 boxes so far. The last one just an extra Easter box with enough jelly beans and "Peeps" for all 18 guys in Rob's security detail on his base in Tikrit, Iraq. Some of the guys get very little from home and love to get packages. I have been fortunate that I have been in contact with Rob a great deal. I had to guess what to send early, but now I think I know exactly what to send. He is a great kid who shares with his buddies alot. I absolutely love helping him out.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the feedback from the soldier I send to. I just wish all deployed soldiers had sponsors.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

how easy it was to get to started sending the packages. Instructions were great.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010

Role:  General Member of the Public & I send a HeroBox to a soldier at least once a month.
