I joined OPKIT when it first started because it is a caring and honest rescue that helps cats all over the country. It was founded by Jamie Lee Robinson who has since expanded into a sanctuary, and she and her volunteers are able to help many kitties that would have been killed in our country's shelters. It is truly a sad commentary on our country that so many animals are abandoned and treated with such irresponsibility, but a charity like OPKIT raises money and actively helps the sick, forgotten, abandoned, betrayed kitties of our country. There is so little help for them and I cannot praise this group's efforts enough.
