Because of JCA, two extremely successful 50 +Job Expo were held to northern Virginia in 2014 and 2015. Attendance was nearly 1,000 and 40% of those surveyed reported that the expo helped them get a job within months after the expo. Additionally, JCA partnered with another non-profit and started a volunteer driver program called NV Rides. NV Rides is assisting community-based organizations to get more older adults to doctors and other essential destinations through volunteer rides. Without available rides, seniors are at risk of isolation and declining health. Thank you JCA for supporting older adults in northern Virginia. We look forward to a continued and growing partnership.
