I have been receiving phone calls from them for years. Every single one, they ask if I "would like to make the same $36 pledge that you made last year?"
I always tell them, that I do not make phone pledges. This repeats every year. At the end of the year, I receive a letter stating "Final notice" regarding the monies that I owe from my phone pledge. I have called their office, and asked them to remove me from their list. They always tell me that they would, but year after year...

Recently, I received a call with the caller ID saying "Brooklyn, NY". They asked for my spouse (who has a different last name). When I stated that my spouse was unavailable, I asked if I can take a message. I asked them where they are calling from, they refused to answer. I repeated the question, by asking if they are calling from a company or an organization, they said "no, I am calling from Brooklyn."

In conclusion, I would seriously question the legitimacy of this organization, if they aren't even honest with their collection methods. I am sure many people fall this trick.
