Review for Shakespeare & Company, Inc., Lenox, MA, USA
Shakespeare & Company's training programs have been invaluable to me as a theatre educator. I am a university theatre professor who has participated in several S&Co;.training programs over the last eight years. The knowledge that I have gained from their talented and dedicated faculty has equipped me to be a better teacher and director of Shakespeare. Shakespeare & Company helped me to rediscover the joy of acting Shakespeare, and I now share that joy and the enthusiasm it has awakened in me with my students. The faculty and staff of Shakespeare & Company are devoted to their craft and take seriously the work of sharing Shakespeare through the act of performance. My work with them has fueled a desire in me to be a lifelong student of Shakespeare; I am inspired by their commitment as artists and as teachers. They have made me a more confident performer and a more skilled and inventive director and teacher. I am grateful to the great service provided by their training programs and hope to work with them and learn from them for many years to come.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
is the way that it has made me better at what I do. My work with Shakespeare & Company equipped me with skills that enhanced my work as a teacher and director, but more than that, it buoyed my spirit and brought a new enthusiasm and joy to the work I do.
