We saw the Shakespeare & Company production of "Les Liaisons Dangereuses" last night and thought it was excellent. The acting was superb and the entire production was well executed and highly professional - noticeably above the usual standards for all too many companies staging shows in local theaters. We were very impressed, and despite the fact that we drove an hour each way to get there (we came in from Albany, N.Y.), we would definitely go back. I imagine this theatre group must be a great resource for the region, especially because out-of-towners like us spend money at other local businesses while we're there to see the play (for example, we got dinner and drinks in Great Barrington, MA before the show).
