Review for The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation, Littleton, CO, USA
My family has been hugely impacted by the Chelsea Hutchison foundation starting a year after their incorporation date. My husband was watching a news story that Julie Hutchison was on, informing listeners about SUDEP (sudden unexplained death in epilepsy). After watching the story, my husband just needed to go see my son, and he found him face down, barely breathing. This news story had saved his life. We have also been blessed with multiple grants for both our children for seizure monitors, a seizure response dog, and a trip to epilepsy awareness day at Disneyland. We have also been blessed to meet many other families who suffer with epilepsy, and we have become a very supportive family. This foundation has the biggest heart, and my family is blessed to be apart of such an amazing foundation.

I have been volunteering with this Foundation since 2010. My son is also a grant recipient for a seizure response service dog. Julie and Doug have done so many wonderful things for the epilepsy community- raising awareness, providing support by grants for seizure monitors and seizure response dogs, and setting up a community where we can be open and supportive of all those affected by epilepsy. I can honestly say, thanks to them, my son is currently alive because of the awareness they are spreading. Love them with all my heart and thankful for all that they do.
