Review for Exceptional Needs Network, Livermore, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My daughter has been attending ENN camp for over 10 years and loved it. Everyone knows her name and greets her warmly on return.
The meet her dietary needs and she loves the food despite her restrictions.
I never worry about her when she's at camp with her 1:1 counselor

Review for Exceptional Needs Network, Livermore, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My daughter loves going to camp. Before we even get home she is asking when she can go again. A safe haven where she can be herself and have fun with her peers. I never have to worry about her welfare when she's at camp. Staff know her well and greet her in the community when they see her. The facilities are the best. They meet her dietary needs and the food is wonderful. Truly a blessing!

One of the outstanding benefits from this camp compared to other camps my daughter has attended is that they have a rest cabin. If you have a child who does not sleep at night they can go to this cabin so that they do not disturb the rest of other campers. My daughter then does not come home so exhausted.
It is a newer camp with a green design that keeps campers warm in the winter and cool in the summer in there well appointed cabins. Out of the 3 different camps my daughter has attended this is the best! I also do not have to pay an extra few to have one on one counselor.

Review for Alameda County Foster Parent Association, Chapter 1, San Leandro, CA, USA

Rating: 4 stars

ACFPA provides support, resources and training to caregivers of foster children. They provide children in care with the experiences that are afforded other children in our community through events and funding. Their meetings provide a place that foster parents can learn from their peers and voice their concerns. Donations and funds for foster children are constantly being sought with new ideas for events being explored.
