Review for Shakespeare & Company, Inc., Lenox, MA, USA
This past fall, 2009, was the first time I attended Shakespeare & Company's Fall Festival of Shakespeare. I'd known that the organization had a history of working in high schools, but until this past fall, I hadn't seen for myself the impact that the organization makes on teenagers. What a treat to be in an audience of _Romeo and Juliet_ and see dozens of teenagers truly transfixed by watching their classmates on stage. And what was going on on stage was a remarkable display of creativity--making the story come alive.
