Review for Shakespeare & Company, Inc., Lenox, MA, USA
Having grown up in the area around Shakespeare & Company, the Company has been a major part of my personal growth and experience. Beyond providing stellar performances to the community - local and beyond - Shakespeare & Company's educational outreach programs have had an enormous effect on the area's youth, myself included. Through programs like the Fall Festival of Shakespeare and Shakespeare & Young Company, Shakespeare & Company immerses local students in the beauty of Shakespeare's text and the thrill of performance. The most amazing thing about Shakespeare & Company is the way in which is strikes a balance between creating remarkable art and teaching others to create it as well.
