I just adopted (Feb/March 2015) a 2 year old dog from OPH. The experience was great and my husband and I just love our dog ("sweet potato", now called "daisy mae")! Everyone I worked with was incredibly responsive, professional, and helpful. For example, the dog I adopted was heartworm positive. Within 24 hours of being approved to adopt her, I received a comprehensive email about what it means for a dog to be heartworm positive and helpful information about the treatment the dog would undergo and the follow-up care she would need. The medical coordinator was also super helpful in answering my follow-up questions.

My husband and I also had some scheduling issues in February, and the foster mom was simply fabulous about working with us and our schedule. It's obvious that Daisy Mae had previously had a rough go of it, but the foster mom did such a fantastic job of helping the doggy become acclimated to living with a family. OPH does great great work and I'm really glad that my husband and I adopted through them.
