I don't live in the Chicago area, but I don't have to in order to know the kind of powerful impact Lillian Harris and AFAM is having on people. Dealing with adolescent moms is one of those subjects that everybody likes to talk about to make themselves feel good, but few are willing to roll up their sleeves and dig in the trenches to provide hands on help. Ms. Harris is one of those rare ones who exemplifies her passion with intelligent, inspired and effective action.
