I've been a volunteer with AWLMC, a no-kill shelter, for 4 years. It is well organized and well run. My time spent there is always valued and never wasted. The shelter cats are extremely well cared for. Each day, each one gets individual care and feeding, including lots of play time and socialization. Because of this individual attention to our cats, the shelter's adoption rates are extremely high, which gives us volunteers a tremendous sense of satisfaction and joy.
