Due to unfortunate circumstances I was in Stern rehab in Manhasset, exit 3 on Community Drive.
I had hip replacement surgery and was at Stern for almost 3 weeks. The replacement was faulty and within a week of coming home I had to have revision surgery. I opted for Stern again. I even requested the same general area and the, the same nurses and definitely the same occupational and physical therapists, and I got everything I requested.
I was there the 2nd time for almost 3 weeks and I can't begin to tell you how caring everyone was from the people that cleaned the room to the nurses aides to the nurses and of course, the therapists. I'm just sorry I don't have the full names of the therapists because I never got the chance to thank them for their help and of course, their caring.
If you have a choice of facilities after surgery, you definitely will NOT go wrong with this facility.
