Review for Promises Animal Rescue, Inc, Gainesville, VA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have been blessed to have adopted three dogs from PAR and help my Mom to adopt a puppy. My one adopted dog was a senior who was my first rescue and although I only had her for one year I know in my heart it was her best year and it made me know I will always adopt and never shop for a dog. PAR helps you to make the process painless and quickly unlike many rescues they keep you up to date where you are in the process and if your references are not responding they will call you so you can call them and get them to respond. If you have an issue with your adopted dog they will help you. Their goal is to adopt all dogs so they can save more dogs. Love this place and you will too!!!!

Thank you for adopting a senior dog. Not many people would have. And thank you for making the last year of her life so special and loved.

Wonderful rescue I have adopted two shepherds one was a senior who sadly only lived one year but it was the best year for her I am sure. Recently I adopted another and she is young and loving so happy to have her in my life. Debbie Thomas is an inspiration to everyone she truly cares and goes on and above for dogs and those who adopt from her.

I am the lucky new Owner of Lenny a beautiful Shepherd that was put up for adoption by her Owner at the age of seven. She has been with me for a little over a week and has finally calmed down and settled in with her two brothers. She has a huge heart and I am learning a bit more about her everyday but all that was stated by Promises Animal Rescue was true. They cared who her foster was and the lady who had her prior to me cared a great deal for her; she is very sensitive and needed a very patient person to foster her.
I see hope in those beautiful eyes that understands I will always be there for her and she will spend the rest of her days with me. I want to thank Debbie for caring for all the dogs you take in and find the proper fosters until they are adopted; this is not an easy task. I want to thank Kathy for your patience and care you gave her while she was being fostered by you. You are both special people and I am forever grateful and so is Len.
Best Regards,
