Review for Pectus Deformities Support Group, Sacramento, CA, USA
No stars... I attemped to join this organizations web message board which is supposedly set up to benefit people like myself who suffer from a particular medical condition. I found one could not use the message board unless one paid a fee, which they call a 'donation'. I wrote the contact person,Zsuzsanna Olson(who calls herself the CEO)to inquire why it was charging a fee of the people it claims to serve, i.e. medically and psychlogically disfigured persons, the contact person responded with a very nasty letter attacking me as a human being and stating she "didnt want my kind" there....I found this response to be profoundly disturbing and inquired about the qualifications of the staff in dealing with disfigurements (and the ramifications in light of her attitude in relation to that) I received no response to this second contact. I presume they have no background in any of the healing arts and her attack upon me in response to what seemed a legitimate question was unnerving to say the least, leading me to question both the qualifications of their personal, and their honesty.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
their horrid treatment of those who make inquiries.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
endeavor to treat people like humans, and get some training in actually dealing with the type people I claim to be concerned with helping.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
my experience was not pleasant in any way.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Only dealt with one person who was abysmally rude and combative.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
allow the CEO to run off to Rio??
Ways to make it better...
I had been treated as a human being.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
honesty and trust
One thing I'd also say is that...
stay away from this outfit.
