I went to Bolivia with Curamericas in 2013. I was amazed to see how their programs empowered community members, especially women, to make real change at the local level, bettering conditions for themselves, their children, and future generations. There was so much respect and love showing the profound relationship with the community Curamericas has. This experience is actually what inspired me to seek a master degree in social work and public health.
