Review for Fine Arts Orchestral Society Of Yonkers Inc, Yonkers, NY, USA
The Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra sponsored by the Fine Arts Orchestral Society of Yonkers has become a superb symphonic orchestra offering four free concerts on Sunday afternoons at Saunders High School in Yonkers. Soloists are of the highest caliber. Being able to hear a wonderful soloist perform with a full orchestra free of charge gives less affluent members of the community the opportunity to hear performances of classical music.On March 10,2013 the Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra will be presenting a FREE concert at the SUNY Purchase Performing Arts Center featuring Beethoven's Symphony %9 with a chorus of over 100 and 4 renowned soloists.

The Society performs first rate classical music concerts on four Sunday afternoons free of charge in Yonkers New York. These concerts are open to the general public. The conductorintoduces some pieaces in each performance with interesting anecdotes about the music. Once you attend a Yonkers Philharmonic Concert you will look forward to attending the next one!
