When I left my homeland in the United States to accept a college teaching position in Switzerland I was quite alone. Every family member and each friend I knew and loved remained behind. As I settled in a small village high in the snowy Alps I had a strong sense of being disconnected from love. Shortly after having this realisation I miraculously found The Love Foundation online. Reading about unconditional love that is available everywhere at any time was a strong comfort. I decided to align myself with the people in this organisation whose words reached out across the miles to assure me that I was loved and not alone. They invited me to become a representative for Switzerland. I remember the happiness that flooded my heart as I happily said, "Yes!"

The first Global Love Day celebration in my new role meant so much to me. I gathered my students and posed for a photo sending greetings to all of the other Unconditional Lovers across the world. My students were so happy and we celebrated all day. Over the next few years our celebration grew and in 2013 our college yearbook staff dedicated 2 pages in our yearbook to Global Love Day. In our group photo were students from 27 nations!

In 2014 I traveled back to the US to meet with two of the founders of The Love Foundation, John Goltz and Harold Becker. In this amazing meeting I knew that this organisation was created with deep integrity and pureness of spirit. I am more committed to The Love Foundation than ever!
